God’s House of All Nations Mission Statement

GHOAN has a heart for authentic worship. We aim to see individuals and families grow and be empowered spiritually. We are passionate about the local church fulfilling its purpose on earth.

Our mission is to change lives by using the most effective means to win souls for Jesus Christ. GHOAN would develop them in Christian living and spiritual maturity – empowering them to Live Better, Love Better, Serve Better and Give Better – positioning them to make a greater impact on the world.

The Founder

Mother Bessie Botto founded God’s House of all Nations in December 1958. She had dedicated members who followed her to several places of worship until a permanent place of worship was purchased. God’s House purchased the site of the existing church (8409 So. Stony Island Ave, in Chicago). Mother Botto was a woman who solely depended on directions from God. The extent of her ministry cannot be adequately expressed in words. Her strong teaching and counseling laid a spiritual foundation for all those who had an ear to hear. Mother Botto was a woman of uncommon faith and wisdom. She was the overseer until her demise on January 28, 1985.

The Bishop & Pastor

Bishop Elgin E. Little II, received salvation at Roberts Temple Church of
God in Christ. In later years, he assisted his mother, Mother Bessie Botto
and was elevated to pastor and Bishop of GHOAN.

Bishop Elgin Little was a God fearing, dedicated, caring, generous, and
loving pastor. It was his God directed vision to build a new church facility.
Bishop Little went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 1996. The
mantle was placed on his daughter Dr. La’Vel F. Hardy. It was her duty to
take the ministry to the next level and to bring Bishop Little’s vision and
dream of a new facility into existence.

The Next Generation

Pastor La’Vel Hardy is now the overseer and administrator of the multi-million-dollar facility. She oversees the daily operation of not only GHOAN church which has over 30 ministries, but also the La’Vel F, Hardy Ministries, All Nations Institute for Learning, and I Love me on Purpose Foundation.

Dr. La’Vel Hardy is without question an anointed and very capable leader and administrator.
